Waarlijk, mijn ziel, keer u stil tot God, want van Hem is mijn verwachting. Ps. 62:6

Psalmen 62

 ¹Een psalm van David voor de koordirigent. Voor Jeduthun.


 ² Ja, mijn hart keert zich naar God; mijn redding komt uit Zijn hand.


 ³ Hij is werkelijk mijn rots en mijn bevrijder; Hij is als een burcht voor mij; niets krijgt mij uit mijn evenwicht.


 ⁴ Hoe lang blijft de vijand nog aanvallen? Zij zullen allemaal omvergelopen worden, als een muur die omvalt en neerstort. 

 ⁵ Ja, zij overleggen met elkaar hoe zij hem kunnen neervellen. Zij houden van de leugen; met hun mond spreken zij vriendelijke taal, maar in hun binnenste vervloeken zij mij.


 ⁶ O, mijn ziel, richt u toch helemaal op God en wees rustig. Ik verwacht alles van Hem.


 ⁷ Hij is werkelijk mijn rots en bevrijder; Hij is als een burcht voor mij; niets krijgt mij uit mijn evenwicht. 

 ⁸ God zorgt voor mijn redding en redt ook mijn eer. Hij is mijn sterke rots. Alleen bij God kan ik altijd schuilen. Hij beschermt mij. 

 ⁹ Volk, stel altijd uw vertrouwen alleen op Hem. Vertel Hem alles en houd niets voor Hem verborgen. Bij God kunnen wij altijd schuilen. Hij beschermt ons. 

 ¹⁰ Mensen stellen in Gods ogen zo weinig voor: armen zijn als een ademtocht en rijken vaak onwaarachtig. Als Hij hen weegt, gaat de weegschaal omhoog; zo gering is de mens vergeleken bij Hem. 

 ¹¹ Hecht geen waarde aan verdrukking; verwacht niets van onrechtmatige opbrengsten; en als u rijk wordt, laat het uw leven met God dan niet beïnvloeden. 

 ¹² God heeft het Zelf gezegd; meermalen heb ik het gehoord: Alle kracht komt van God.


 ¹³ Here, ook de goedheid en trouw komen alleen van U. Iedereen ontvangt van U loon naar werken.

Wonderful God (Maravilloso Dios) (Prachtige God) Opw. 626

Door omstandigheden heb ik geen daglezingen gepost en heb besloten de hele maand Februari dit niet te doen . Persoonlijk ben ik een 4 weken bijbelstudie aan het volgen met een groep bloggers gericht op "geplant" zijn. Het is zo inspirerend en ik weet dat het een blijvend effect zal hebben in mijn geestelijke groei.
Een heerlijk begin voor dit nieuwe jaar!
Ik blijf wel posten wat mij bezig houdt.
De liederen van vandaag zijn heerlijke liederen om God te prijzen om wat Hij is en voor ons betekend.
De spaanse versie bracht weer de spaanse taal in mij omhoog vandaar deze toevoeging naast Nederlands en engels.....Heerlijk dat we een God kunnen aanspreken en benaderen in de taal die op ons hart ligt...
Gods Zegen voor deze zondag en in de komende week!

Job 37

    "Whenever this happens, my heart stops— I'm stunned, I can't catch my breath.
Listen to it! Listen to his thunder,
   the rolling, rumbling thunder of his voice.
He lets loose his lightnings from horizon to horizon,
   lighting up the earth from pole to pole.
In their wake, the thunder echoes his voice,
   powerful and majestic.
He lets out all the stops, he holds nothing back.
   No one can mistake that voice—
His word thundering so wondrously,
   his mighty acts staggering our understanding.
He orders the snow, 'Blanket the earth!'
   and the rain, 'Soak the whole countryside!'

Psalmen 23

 ¹Een psalm van David. De HERE is mijn herder, dus heb ik alles wat ik nodig heb!

 ²Hij laat mij uitrusten in een groene weide en wijst mij de weg langs kabbelende beekjes.

 ³Hij verfrist mijn innerlijk en leidt mij op de weg, waar Zijn recht geldt, tot eer van Zijn naam.

 ⁴Zelfs als ik door een donker dal moet lopen, ben ik niet bang, want U bent dicht bij mij. U bewaakt mij en gaat de hele weg met mij mee.

 ⁵U bereidt heerlijk eten voor mij, waar mijn vijanden bij zijn. U behandelt mij als een persoonlijke gast! U zegent mij overvloedig!

 ⁶Uw goedheid, liefde en trouw mag ik mijn hele leven ervaren; en daarna mag ik voor eeuwig bij U wonen in Uw huis.
